Imagine that you have just arrived at the mall. People are speeding from one store to another trying to find the best deals. This is the first time that you have been inside of this mall and you do not know where the store is or who to ask for directions. Usually the best thing to do is to look for a mall map or guide that could pinpoint you in the right direction. The purpose of a mall map is not only to point you in the right direction but also give you a good layout and overview of the entire mall. Similar to a mall map the job of the Holy Spirit is to guide believers into all truth. (John14:26)

As the spirit of God continues to lead and to guide us into all truth, we may experience some difficulties and lost moments. We might even get turned around trying to get to the true and proper destination. Sometimes the directions that are displaced can be confusing and also somewhat overwhelming to understand, but one must remember that the purpose of reading the directions and gathering the information to bring one to their destination. 

Some of the difficulties or obstacles that believers might face while trying to pursue and press toward their God given purpose might include death, failure, deception, and pain. But in the mist of these obstacles believers should remember that the Holy Spirit will always remain steadfast in guiding one into the right direction. Whenever one becomes lost, confused, frustrated and disoriented throughout the course of life remember that Christ will keep you in perfect peace and will continue to be with his children as they continue to walk with him.
